Roman Forum
The Roman Forum in Rome is a rectangular square located in the heart of ancient Rome, between the Palatine and Capitoline hills. The Forum was the center of important buildings, popular ceremonies, government elections, and a center for public speeches and public trials. It was also the heart of Roman trade and economic life. It is believed that the Roman Forum was the most famous meeting place in history, due to the many statues that commemorate the ancient Roman men. Now it is one of the most important archaeological attractions in Rome.
