Saint Michael Archangel Church

Nowhere in the city of Herceg Novi embodies the region's diverse and amazing spirit of inclusivity and tolerance more than the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, which was officially opened in 1911 after nearly three decades of construction. The structure of this church includes architectural elements that span the history of Herceg Novi. Including the High Gothic window, Romanesque arches, Byzantine dome, and Serbian Orthodox interiors, as well as some Islamic influences, the church is located in Bellavista Square, one of the main public spaces in the Old Town.
