Description of the place
The Church of St. Nicholas, or as it is known as the Great Church, is one of the oldest churches in Edam. It was built in the fifteenth century and was originally a small crusader church, which was later expanded. It includes a tower in addition to its halls, and tourists can enjoy watching the city from the top of the tower The church is also famous for its 32 stained glass windows.
