Description of the place
The Church of Saint-Pierre de Chartreux is located near Saint-Pierre Square in the city of Toulouse, and its name goes back to the Carthusian monks who built it at the beginning of the seventeenth century. It is made of marble and decorated with a wonderful carving depicting angels crowning the Blessed Sacrament created by the famous Toulouse sculptor François Lucas in 1785.
