Saint Stefano

The Church of Santo Stefano is a Catholic place of worship in the city of Aosta, rebuilt in the 18th century on the structures of an earlier church of the 15th century. The church includes a large Baroque altar made of golden-colored wood, and the church is home to many gilded stone statues, such as the huge wooden statue of San Cristoforo at the main entrance built of stone. The church's façade is decorated with many frescoes that were restored between 2005-2006.
