Samiha Kamel Palace

Princess Samiha Kamel, the middle daughter of Sultan Hassan Kamel, lived in this palace until her death in 1986 with her husband, the artist Wahid Yousry. The palace combines Mamluk, Fatimid, Moroccan and Andalusian Islamic architecture. It is distinguished by its difference from the style of other official palaces, as it turned it into something like a literary and artistic salon, where many concerts and famous masquerade carnivals were held, so that it recommended that it be used for cultural purposes after her death.
