San Giovanni Casemate Fort

Fort San Giovanni Casemate was built hundreds of years ago. It is located a few meters underground and is accessed through a small iron staircase. It was used by soldiers during times of war to hide and use cannons in the upper part of it. It still retains its design and shape despite the passage of hundreds of years. The years since its construction, but today, tourists come here to see the remaining ruins and enjoy sitting on the benches near it with a wonderful view of the city.
