Description of the place
The Abbey of the Madonna di San Biagio is located at the foot of the Montepulciano hill and has a passage lined with tall cypress trees. This church was built by Antonio da Sangallo between 1518 and 1545 and is a 16th-century masterpiece with a view Picturesque on the Italian countryside, the church contains a fresco depicting the Madonna and Child in her lap and Saint Francis.
