Sarajevo City Hall

This town hall was officially opened in April 1896 to be used for administrative purposes. During the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1992, it was hit by flammable artillery missiles, which produced a fire that completely destroyed the building. Its reconstruction began in 1996 and continued until 2014. Today, this restored building is used for events and celebrations at the state and city levels, as well as to promote cultural, artistic, economic and other events.
