Säppe is a land corridor approximately twelve kilometers long on the German Baltic Sea island of Rügen, which connects the Witto peninsula with the Jasmund peninsula, forms a sickle-shaped coastline on Trumperwick Bay, and separates the Grosser Jasmunder and Breger lakes from the Baltic Sea. Soft coastal sand dunes full of herbs that protect the interior from flooding, in addition to containing a group of pine, grape and oak trees. Today, Shapi is the longest beach in Rügen and is particularly popular with nature lovers.
