Description of the place
The Scharnitz Pass is a narrow part of the upper Isar Valley in the Northern Alps, composed of limestone, located at an altitude of about 955 meters on the Austro-German border between the states of Bavaria and Tyrol. This nature trail is distinguished by its unique composition, which combines green flat plains with a mountainous backdrop of towering white Alps in a landscape that is the most beautiful of its kind.
