Schwarzsee

The Black Lake - located between Kitzbühel and Reith - is a swampy lake with dark water, with temperatures reaching 27 degrees Celsius in summer, making it the warmest lake in Tyrol and a popular place for swimming. Despite its dark color, it is exceptionally clean and is good for the skin thanks to Its high concentration of natural minerals, and it is surrounded by the magnificent Tsar Mountains. Boat rentals are available at the lake, and many fishermen come there due to the large numbers of different fish species.
