Description of the place
The Selamat Datang Monument, built by the famous Indonesian sculptor Edhi Sunarso in 1962, is located in the center of Jakarta, and is one of its most important historical monuments. This beautiful monument, which is about five meters high, depicts two bronze statues of a man and a woman waving welcoming gestures, and the woman appears holding a bouquet of flowers in her left hand.
