Description of the place
Selimi Mosque is an Ottoman imperial mosque in the city of Konya. The mosque was built by Sultan Selim II, and built by the imperial architect Mimar Sinan between 1568 and 1575. Sinan considered it one of his masterpieces and one of the highest achievements of Islamic architecture. Selim II Mosque has a large dome above it. The mosque permeates a number of lighthouses, beautiful circular domes, and a number of nearby facilities.
