Seoul Forest

Seoul Forest was created to meet people's desire for green space and recreational places in the city center. In the past, the forest was a favorite hunting ground for the royal family. It has undergone a variety of changes, as it housed the first water treatment plant in Seoul, and then it was changed into a playground. For golf, then a horse racing track, and it was finally converted into a national family park, and it was opened in 2002, and the Sol Forest extends over an area of more than 1.16 million square meters, and it consists of five gardens: the Cultural Arts Park, the environmental forest, the field for studying nature experiments, and the environmental field for the lands Wetland and Han River Garden.
