Description of the place
The Shakespeare Monument is located near Elm Park. It was built by the Berlin sculptor Otto Lessing and opened in 1904 AD to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of the founding of the German Shakespeare Society. It is a marble statue with a height of more than two meters in which the poet William Shakespeare appears. ) holding a scroll in his right hand, and a bunch of roses in his left hand.
