Sharaan Nature Reserve

In addition to its captivating history and culture, AlUla is home to an array of diverse wild flora and fauna, which necessitated the establishment of the Sharaan Nature Reserve, which covers an area of approximately 1,500 square kilometers of rocky valleys, sparse desert, and valleys covered with wildflowers. In Al-Ula, it also hosts an abundance of fascinating wildlife, including the feathered red-necked ostrich, royal Nubian ibex and graceful Edmée gazelles.
