Description of the place
The Sheesh Palace is an integral part of the famous Mehrangarh Fort, and it is an ideal shrine to get acquainted with the distinctive features of the royal architecture in the region, as it is adorned from ceiling to floor with intricate decorations inlaid with beautiful and colored glass mirrors and various paintings that depict religious figures and gods made of gypsum. It was previously the bedchamber of the Maharaja and ruler, Maharaja Ajit Singh.
