Sherwood Arboretum
Sherwood Arboretum is part of the Brisbane Botanic Gardens collection. This heritage-listed site was officially opened on World Forest Day in 1925 and was created for Australian native trees. The nursery covers an area of 15 hectares and contains approximately 1,100 trees representing about 250 species. The site features a number of plant groups including riverine, dry forest and freshwater wetland.
