Shotover Bridge
The Shotover Bridge, located 10 kilometers from Queenstown (off Highway 6), was built in 1871 and offers beautiful panoramic views of the Shotover River; It is worth noting that the original bridge was washed away in 1878 due to flooding, but it was reconstructed by the Public Works Department and reopened in 1915. It is possible to walk over this bridge to enjoy panoramic views of the Shotover River and the surrounding mountains.
