Siebenbergen Flower Island

The island of Siebenbergen flowers in Kassel is described as one of the most beautiful natural green areas. Every year, a sea of colorful flowers floats on the gray winter colors of this island, making it like a piece of paradise. Surrounding these flowers is a purple pool of water that reflects the colors of the sky and the flowers. Daffodils and tulips bloom here on three levels. With its seasonal play of leaf colours, seasonally changing flower farms and views of the surrounding waters, the island always offers its visitors a unique panorama from spring to autumn. The island brings together more than 100 species of flowers from all over the world, including gorse flowers, perennials, deciduous and numerous conifers from all continents, native wild plants, water lilies and orchids from northern Hesse.
