Saint John hospital is one of the oldest surviving hospital buildings in Europe, dating back to the 12th century. By the nineteenth century, the hospital had 8 wings centered around the central building, then the hospital was moved to a modern building, and now the building is considered a historical museum that displays the development of medicine in the city. Visitors can visit the wards and the neighboring church.
