Softa Castle

The ruins of the Softa Castle, which still stands tall in the city of Mersin, are among the most beautiful archaeological architectural masterpieces, where the walls are well preserved in some places and are oval in shape. Huge walls and an inner castle spread over a very wide area, and there is a two-story tomb built in the architectural style. It is estimated that the building at the end of the entrance to the castle, whose walls are still standing, is a mosque, and there are many gypsum-covered tanks that were used in the Roman and Byzantine eras.
