The Solidor Tower is located in Saint-Malo, in the Rance Estuary. It is a huge tower consisting of three interconnected towers. It was built in 1382 AD by order of King John V, in order to control the access of merchants to the River Rance. Many tourists visit it every year, as it has a wonderful architectural character and is surrounded by picturesque landscapes.
