Sri Mariamman Temple

It is the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore, whose construction began in 1872, for the purpose of worshiping immigrant Hindus. The temple is named after Goddess Maryman who is known for her power to cure diseases and epidemics. Since then, this place has become a temple and a special place for the Hindus, as well as a shrine for tourists, and Hindu celebrations are held in that place in November of each year.
