St. Anne's Cathedral

Built in the Baroque and Classical style, St. Anne's Basilica was elevated from the rank of a basilica to a cathedral by Pope John Paul II in 1993. A replica of the Shroud of Turin has been on display in the building since 2011. 2015 is the Catholic Memorial Year, in order to celebrate the third centenary of the movement that began to reorganize the practices and activities of the Catholic faithful in the city of Debrecen.
