St. George Church

The construction of the Church of St. George, located on top of a hill in the beautiful town of Ruhpolding, began in 1738 AD, and it is distinguished by its beautiful architectural design in the sparkling golden Rococo style with a high altar adorned with carved figures of saints, and among the most important sculptures of the church is the Roman Madonna statue from the twelfth century. This church is a place of great religious importance for the residents of the area.
