St. Lawrence Church

The Church of St. Lawrence was built between 1449 and 1525 and the church was the first entirely stone building in Rotterdam. It is a Protestant church and is considered one of the only remains in the medieval city. Therefore, it is considered a symbol of the city’s history, and it has been restored several times, especially after World War II. The church is considered one of the most beautiful churches in Rotterdam, as it is characterized by its ancient Gothic design, in addition to the architecture that reflects civilization in the past.
