St. Mary's Church is one of the oldest buildings in Bergen. This church is also known as Mariakirken in Norwegian. The church dates back to the first half of the 12th century, and is one of the most prominent Romanesque churches in the country. The pulpit in the church is the pride of the church and an example of Baroque decoration in Norway.
