Stanmer Park
Stanmer Park is a large open park immediately west of the University of Sussex and north-east of Brighton in East Sussex, England. The village, church and municipal council of Stanmer lie within the park as they were all private until bought by Brighton Council in 1947. It is now a local nature reserve. Today the park is open to the public, and there is a café in the village. Guided walks are occasionally available, in particular "bat walks" where attendees witness the large local bat population.
