Description of the place
The 12th-century Steen Castle, otherwise known as The Rock, was once a prison, fish warehouse, maritime museum and, at a certain period, the residence of some of the most important princes of centuries past, and is now open to the public. At the entrance to the castle you can see the legend of the ogre that lives in the legendary waters of Lange.
