Stringed Instruments Museum

The String Instruments Museum, in essence, consists of all the stringed instruments belonging to Domingos Machado's personal collection. It was inaugurated in September 1995. It is well known by collectors and model specialists, and has been mentioned in many national and international specialized publications. The most remarkable thing about the museum is the fact that all the instruments on display were made by Machado himself according to the methods of his ancestors, and they include guitars, classical guitars, banjos, mandolins, model mandolins, and more.
