Südbad Jena

Lake Sudbad or Schleichersee is located in the city of Jena. In the past, the lake was a gravel pit owned by the local Schleicher family. The lake was created after the hole was filled with water. The family later presented it to the city to become a public lake open to all. Here you can enjoy many activities. Recreational areas such as swimming and bathing in a designated area inside the pool, in addition to courts for volleyball and beach sports.
