Suermondt Ludwig Museum

The Swermund Ludwig Museum has been located in the former Villa Casalet since 1901 and has been displaying art from antiquity to neoclassical times. Intense and specialized in the arts throughout the ages. The museum's extensive collections are thanks to donations from the citizens of Aachen and many other donors, and the museum is named after its three main donors, Barthold Suermondt and Irene and Peter Ludwig.
