The Sursock Museum, officially known as the Nicholas Ibrahim Sursock Museum, is a museum of modern and contemporary art in the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The museum building represents an example of Lebanese architecture inspired by the Italian and Ottoman styles, and it is one of the few remaining buildings from its era in Beirut. More than 100 exhibitions have been held in the museum, including displays of works by Lebanese and international artists. The permanent collection of the museum includes pieces of modern art, Japanese inscriptions, and Islamic art, and it consists of more than 800 artworks; Including paintings, sculptures, and graphic arts from the 19th and 20th centuries.
