Szamos Marzipan Museum
In the early 1930s, a poor Serbian boy, Mátyás Szamos, stole from a famous Danish confectioner what could be made of almond sugar paste. Thanks to many exercises and ingenuity, young Mátyás Szamos soon learned how to make rose petals from marzipan, and in the mid-1990s The Szamos marzipan factory originates from this rose, and it is worth noting that the secrets, recipes and passion with which Matthias creates his creations are passed down from generation to generation in the family.
