Szemlő Mountain Cave

Mount Semlu Cave is one of the most valuable natural treasures in Budapest, as it contains many spacious passages and offers a variety of wonderful shapes, richly decorated with mineral deposits. Visitors can wander around the walking path for a distance of about 250 meters on comfortable concrete pavements and stairs, and they can learn about the deposits of paisolitic and gypsum crystals that are almost unparalleled in Europe covering the walls in abundance, and it is worth noting that the clear, dust-free air of the cave is a cure for patients with from asthma and respiratory diseases.
