Description of the place
Taman Ayun Temple is a magnificent royal Hindu temple and garden complex located in the village of Mengwi and bordered by many water channels. It is one of the most visited temples in Bali. It was built in the 17th century by the first king, Tjokerda Sakti Blambangan. It has an architectural design. Wonderfully traditional, its gardens are beautifully landscaped, including lotus ponds and fish ponds.
