Tara Canyon

Tara Canyon or the Tara River Valley is one of the deepest valleys in Europe and the second deepest valley in the world after the Grand Canyon in the United States of America, with a length of 78 kilometers and a depth of 1,300 meters. Covering an area of 36,000 hectares protected by UNESCO, this valley abounds with brightly colored glacial rivers and lakes, mountains, green peaks, white waterfalls, flowers of various colors, and centuries-old houses. When visiting Tara Canyon, many interesting activities can be practiced, such as kayaking, climbing, hiking, and even swimming and snorkeling. It should be noted that this valley can be visited from mid-April to early October.
