The clock tower in Safranbolu is the oldest working clock tower in Turkey, which was built during the reign of Mehmet Pasha Al-Kuprelli, in 1947. The clock tower is a small-sized building, with a single entrance on the edge facing the old prison, and rectangular windows on the four sides of the clock room , which is accessed by stairs that reach the top of the tower. It is also located near the area's attractions.
