Tax & Customs Museum
The Tax and Customs Museum is a national museum that tells the history of taxes in the Netherlands by explaining the historical development of tax laws and their administration, in addition to reviewing the history of Dutch customs. It was established in 1937. The visitor can discover how the Dutch tax system works, why it is paid and to whom it is paid, in addition to watching This system developed historically through the artifacts and artwork displayed in it. The museum also displays the history of the borders with Belgium and Germany. Two major exhibitions are organized annually within the museum.
