Tea Museum

This tea museum belongs to a company in Idukki that has been producing and exporting tea to the world since the end of the nineteenth century, specifically since 1883. The museum tells the history of the industry and the development of tools and machinery over the centuries, and how the company transformed from a small shop into a huge factory. Museum visitors can also see the different stages of tea processing, and they can taste different types of tea, such as black and green tea.
