Teatro Real

Madrid's Royal Theater is the city's main opera house, located in the vicinity of the Grand Plaza Isabel II, right in front of the Royal Palace. It opened in 1850, underwent a massive renovation in the 1990s, and reopened in 1997 to host both local and international opera productions.
