Technology Museum

The Technology Gallery is located in Kassel, and it is one of the few factories that preserved large parts of the original manufacturing materials. The historical period extends from the construction of the first hall of the museum in 1870 AD to the expansion stage at the turn of the century. The plant is an exemplary example of both architecture and mechanics - and is one of the oldest old locomotive production facilities in Germany that has been preserved as a collection. It aims to bring together products, technologies and innovations from Kassel and North Hesse, to present and place them in a historical context. This also includes holding lectures and discussions.
