Temple of Mithras
The Temple of Mithra is the largest underground temple in the world. It is located at the foot of a large hill in the city of Gaziantep. It contains two main halls. The most interesting landmark in the temple is the inscription of the scene of killing the bull engraved in the central niche. And snakes, scorpions and dogs that symbolize the constellations, and this temple was opened to visitors between 1997 and 1998 with the participation of the German University of Munster and the Gaziantep Museum.
