The Cloister

These wonderful monasteries on the island are not original ruins, but the remains of a French monastery from the fourteenth century that were imported from France, where France dismantled the building and moved it, and then Nassau rebuilt it at the hands of international engineers. This does not detract from the beauty of the landmark at all, as it is very wonderful and will be admired by all visitors, just as visitors will admire the picturesque tropical forests surrounding it.
