The King's Garden
In honor of the Pleasure Palace in the center of Copenhagen, and in order to remain a historical stronghold for visitors at all times, the city administration decided to establish a distinctive garden on the outskirts of this palace, which is the King’s Garden, which is today one of the oldest royal gardens in the country and was established by Christian IV. In Renaissance style, the garden is a popular retreat in central Copenhagen, visited by an estimated 2.5 million people annually. Many annual botanical festivals specialized in the world of flowers are held in this garden.
