The Palestinian Museum

The Palestinian Museum is an independent cultural institution in the town of Birzeit, adjacent to Birzeit University. The museum aims to promote an open and vibrant Palestinian culture at the local and international levels. It also contributes to the production of novels about the history, culture and society of Palestine with a new perspective, providing an incubating environment for creative projects, educational programs and innovative research. The museum contains galleries, an external theatre, an indoor and an outdoor cafe, it also includes an educational center, offices for employees, a movie hall, and a garden that tells the story of the agricultural and plant history in Palestine during its various stages. The Palestine Museum is also the first green building to receive the LEED Gold Certificate in Palestine.
