The Wine Gate

The Wine Gate still maintains its function as an entrance to the city of Al-Hamra Palace as it was during the Nasrid period, and it also works to enclose the residential and vocational area inside the walled castle, and since it was an internal gate, it provided direct access to the castle, and it is considered one of the oldest buildings in the Nasrid Al-Hamra Palace, It was built during the reign of Sultan Muhammad III between 1302 and 1309.
