Thousand Pillars

The Temple of a Thousand Columns is a marvel of history and architecture in the world. Because of its importance and unique and elaborate design, UNESCO decided to include it as a World Heritage Site. As indicated by its name, it is made up of a thousand columns, elaborately and exquisitely decorated, distributed in a circular manner throughout the main square that includes the bathing pool. It is said that the construction of the temple took 72 odd years until this great architectural masterpiece appeared.
